Community Government Relations Committee (CGR)
Mission Statement:
Empowering local businesses by advocating for priorities that drive economic growth. Together we serve as a bridge between the business community and government entities, ensuring that our voices are heard, and our interests represented.
Goals:
1. Establish Regular Communication Channels
Create and maintain regular communication channels, such as meetings, forums, or online platforms, where local businesses and local government representatives can engage in constructive dialogue.
2. Participate in local government meetings.
Encourage business leaders to actively participate in local government meetings, committees, and advisory boards to provide their perspectives on economic matters.
3. Feedback Mechanisms
Establish mechanisms for businesses to provide feedback and suggestions directly to government entities, allowing for a more responsive and adaptive regulatory environment.
